Arsenal legend Paul Merson has claimed Arsene Wenger will Arsenal in favour of a move to Paris Saint Germain next season if the French champions fail to lift the Champions League.
The Gunners boss has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates, after refusing to extend his contract with Arsenal, despite reports that he has been offered a new two-year deal.
There are reports that Arsene Wenger might return to France with PSG being his likely destination and Paul Merson thinks the move might happen.
‘Wenger has a great reputation around the world, he knows every footballer in the world,’ Merson told Sky Sports.
‘I just think if PSG don’t win the Champions League – and I’m not sure they’re going to win the French league with the way Monaco are playing – I would say he would be manager of PSG next year.’
